Hailing from Boulder, Colorado, Jababa has been earning the respect of musicians and audiences alike since their inception in late 2007. The instrumental four-piece blends elements of funk, fusion jazz, and progressive rock to create a new hybrid genre that lays down a thumping groove while maintaining highly intricate arrangements and melodies.

The band members – Andrew Martin (organ, electric piano), Will Robertson (bass), Brad Huffman (guitar), and Aaron Bagby (drums) – bring together a diverse set of skills and musical background. Before forming Jababa, they have all played extensively in other nationally-touring bands such as Guest, Day-Old Jelly Roll, and The Flying Lu.

Jababa reflects the maturation of these musicians, showing tremendous growth from their previous endeavors. Whether they are rocking the house at a late night show or killing the audience softly at a mellow dinner set, Jababa has demonstrated that they have the ability to connect with the room in a way that creates a powerful musical moment for everyone involved.
